Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive functional safety tasks covering requirements definition, detailed design, and thorough evaluation aligned with intelligent driving system specifications and industry safety standards.
- Conduct functional safety assessments for automotive-grade and robotics applications employing techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Design Failure Analysis (DFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA).
- Develop, implement, and refine functional safety mechanisms to enhance product safety integrity.
- Oversee functional safety certification workflows and collaborate with external certification bodies to ensure successful product approvals.
- Engage with clients to understand and address their functional safety requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a Master’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Control, Integrated Circuits, or related fields.
- Experience in embedded hardware and software development; well-versed in functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 and IEC 61508, and familiar with product development lifecycle processes.
- Proficient in applying widely recognized safety mechanisms within functional safety designs, supported by at least two years of related professional experience.
- Expertise in multiple functional safety analysis methodologies including FTA, DFA, FMEA, and FMEDA.
- Highly self-driven and inquisitive individual with strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; demonstrates responsibility, meticulousness, and rigorous work ethics; exhibits a team-oriented attitude and a keen interest in automotive industry safety standards.
