Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all business, technical, financial, and administrative facets of assigned projects or programs, acting as the primary company liaison with clients and suppliers during project execution.
• Negotiate scope modifications with clients and assist business development in understanding client needs and strategies to secure further opportunities.
• Define program requirements, supervise deliverables to ensure adherence, and delegate project plan responsibilities to key team members according to their expertise.
• Provide input on subordinate performance evaluations and development plans, promote technical excellence, and advance quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate company resources by liaising with support units and offices to assemble effective project teams capable of high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with lead engineers to develop budgets, schedules, and comprehensive plans, ensuring projects meet or surpass objectives.
• Monitor and report project progress and key milestones, promptly addressing any factors that could impact cost or scheduling, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Supervise preparation of essential documentation such as Work Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Control Plans, especially for hazardous waste work, and take part in negotiations with regulatory bodies and public meetings as needed.
• Contribute visibly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance by supporting the One-Way program and ensuring all project participants adhere to HSE requirements.
• Establish and nurture effective collaborative relationships with clients and manage multiple stakeholders efficiently throughout and beyond project completion.
• Oversee contract management between WorleyParsons and customers, ensuring delivery within budget and gross margin targets.
• Ensure seamless handover from Business Development groups, maintain clear scope definitions, apply robust change control processes, and manage interfaces including High Value Engineering centers.
• Plan and coordinate all project scope elements, resource allocation, and financial needs, managing design, procurement, and construction activities to align with schedules.
• Maintain rigorous cost control through accurate estimating, reporting, forecasting, and proactive identification of cost trends, ensuring project financial health.
• Ensure project quality standards are rigorously defined, implemented, and in compliance with company policies, including conducting lessons learned programs.
• Define roles and provide strong leadership to project teams, developing a clear vision and strategy for project success.
• Facilitate effective communication within teams and with stakeholders by documenting requirements, ensuring timely progress reporting, and enhancing communication networks.
• Identify, track, and manage project risks and opportunities, maintaining a continuous focus on risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide the design team to comply with customer design basis, regulations, and codes, monitoring inter-disciplinary communication and deliverables.
• Set objectives and oversee procurement and subcontract teams to meet specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Supervise construction teams ensuring the safe delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards it is preferred.
• Extensive experience in project management with significant involvement in FEED and Detail Design phases for major Offshore Brownfield Projects.
• Proven supervisory and technical expertise across multiple projects.
