Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We represent a growing independent construction consultancy based in Cardiff, Wales, currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their expanding team, serving the South West and South Wales regions. This role encompasses leading a diverse range of construction and property projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all phases including development, design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Serve as primary liaison for clients, managing communication and coordination among multidisciplinary consultant teams and contractors.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule, proactively manage risks, and facilitate timely decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with proven ability to deliver construction projects independently.
• Skilled at managing multidisciplinary consultant teams and maintaining direct client and senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness with capability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
• Highly organized, proactive, and adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communicator with an aptitude for relationship-building and influencing business growth.
• Possesses recognized project management certification such as Prince2, APM PMQ, or Chartered Status.
• Holds or benefits from a relevant construction or surveying qualification, though not mandatory.
