Control Engineering Specialist

Currently, the company is seeking a Control Engineering Specialist for a major Oil & Gas project located in Doha, Qatar.

Job Purpose

• Conduct control system engineering activities for the division, ensuring adherence to standardized procedures and delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• A decade of specialized experience in the oil and gas sector, including a minimum of four years in project management roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of control system engineering tasks aligns with regulatory standards, project requirements, and any approved changes.
• Identify and resolve engineering challenges, communicating effectively within the team and escalating issues when necessary.
• Develop and update project management policies and procedures in collaboration with department leadership and team members.
• Assist external engineering teams and representatives to ensure designs meet company and project expectations.
• Assess complex engineering matters and advise management with recommendations; contribute expertise to multidisciplinary activities.
• Adhere to all project philosophies and procedures, applying them during specification, design, and procurement of control systems.
• Maintain compliance with company systems and project management processes; prepare detailed project plans and timelines for successful completion.
• Oversee and guide FEED and EPC contractors, ensuring facilities are built within scope, company standards, approved timelines, and budgets.
• Provide support to engineers on complex tasks, ensuring activities are completed on schedule.
