About the Role
Ventia is currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to contribute to the NBN Co.'s N2P Evolution Contract, a significant telecommunications initiative aimed at broadening Australia's fibre optic network and improving broadband connectivity for numerous homes and businesses. This permanent full-time role is preferably based in our Cambridge office, Tasmania, although applications from qualified individuals in other major cities will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update various project registers to support the overall Project Delivery Team.
- Handle travel bookings and requests efficiently.
- Manage compliance documentation and registers.
- Oversee purchase order processing along with related paperwork.
- Record accurate minutes during project and toolbox meetings.
- Generate daily and weekly progress reports while keeping tracking systems current.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive individual with prior experience in project administration or coordination, particularly within telecommunications, construction, infrastructure, or maintenance sectors. Key attributes include strong attention to detail, proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with stakeholders.
