Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and lead night shift cleaning teams across Perth's rail stations, specifically along the Armadale Line. This hands-on position involves supervising cleaning personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and operational standards are consistently met during late-night hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of cleaning staff through night shifts.
- Guarantee that cleaning tasks are performed safely and maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of cleaning activities.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to coordinate operations.
- Drive a company van to travel between various station locations as required.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and the presentable condition of rail stations for commuters.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is highly preferred.
- Strong communication capabilities to manage team and report effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and best practices.
- Possession of a valid Western Australia Driver's License.
- Confidence and ability in operating a company van as needed.
- Reliable, well-organized, and leads by example in work ethic and conduct.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Fixed full-time contract until 31 July 2027.
- Night shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 5:36 AM, starting ASAP.
- Hourly pay starts at $33.87 plus applicable penalties, superannuation, and allowances.
