Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

We operate an ecommerce fulfilment centre in our Sector 67 warehouse. We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to fully manage the daily warehouse functions. You will oversee the journey of stock from arrival through to order dispatch, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational smoothness. This position is hands-on and includes leading a small team actively engaged in warehouse tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and print shipping labels, ensuring correct matching to orders and accurate labelling before shipment.
• Supervise the packing process, verify packing quality, and guarantee prompt order picking, packing, and handover to courier services daily.
• Receive incoming inventory, validate quantities against purchase documentation, inspect for damages, and log all information meticulously into inventory systems.
• Maintain precise stock records, conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and identify reorder requirements proactively.
• Manage returned orders by inspecting and reintegrating salable items into stock.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and efficient workflow including management of packing materials and supplies during typical and high-demand periods.
• Assign tasks to warehouse team members, monitor their productivity, and intervene directly when necessary to sustain operations.
• Maintain straightforward and dependable reports on dispatches, inventory status, and returns, providing updates to management.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in warehouse management, logistics, fulfilment, or inventory control; ecommerce exposure is advantageous.
• Comfortable using label printing systems, order management portals, and proficient with basic computer applications like Excel or Google Sheets.
• Highly organized, detail-conscious, and reliable in maintaining stock accuracy and dispatch precision.
• Capable of leading a small team while maintaining composure and effectiveness during busy order periods.
• Basic fluency in Hindi and English for communication.
• Committed to full-time, on-site work at the Sector 67 Gurgaon warehouse.

Additional Qualifications Preferred

• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, or Meesho and courier service dashboards including Delhivery, Shiprocket, and Blue Dart.
• Knowledge of barcode scanning technology and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is beneficial.
