Job description
Role Overview
As a Production Operative at Sofina Foods, you will be an integral member of a hands-on production team dedicated to the preparation and processing of high-quality pork products. Your role involves ensuring all products meet safety, efficiency, and quality requirements.
Training is provided to equip you with the knowledge and skills to work in various production areas such as processing, cutting, trimming, packing, and labeling. There are ample opportunities to grow your skillset and advance your career within the company.
Location: Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland
Hourly Pay: €14.40 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety protocols.
- Prepare, process, and pack pork products according to specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on products including size, weight, and presentation standards.
- Safely operate production equipment after completing training.
- Accurately label and pack finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area.
- Meet production targets and follow daily work plans.
- Report any issues concerning products, equipment, or safety without delay.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working in fast-paced production environments. Prior experience in food manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory due to comprehensive training offered.
