Role Overview

We seek a driven Product Engineer passionate about transforming authentic customer challenges into reliable and user-friendly software solutions. Collaborating intimately with company founders, designers, and property managers, you will identify critical needs, build functional tools, and refine them using real user feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with property managers and internal stakeholders to deeply understand their workflows and pain points, determining key problems to address.
• Own product development end-to-end: from idea conception and prototyping through frontend and backend implementation, testing, integration, and release, ensuring smooth performance in production.
• Partner with designers to create seamless, intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex rental management tasks and empower users to complete operations efficiently.
• Develop event-driven automation workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks such as scheduling cleanings, delivering check-in instructions, and generating owner financial statements.
• Implement AI-powered features utilizing large language models and AI agents to enhance guest communication, handle maintenance requests, support dynamic pricing, and optimize portfolio management.
• Build and maintain reliable APIs and integrations with prominent platforms such as Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and others within the short-term rental ecosystem.
• Address operational challenges including real-time reservation synchronization, smart lock access, automated guest interactions, operational forecasting, maintenance automation, and comprehensive owner reporting.
• Use customer feedback, analytics, and operational data to measure product impact and continuously enhance features based on user adoption, efficiency gains, error reduction, and improved outcomes.
• Make informed technical decisions balancing rapid delivery, maintainability, security, and scalability to support growth in users and properties on the platform.

• Background in short-term rental technology, hospitality software, or property management systems
