Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the produce area in a clean, orderly, and well-defined state at all times, ensuring readiness for customers.
• Regularly rotate products and remove expired items to preserve product freshness and quality.
• Ensure accurate pricing and signage of all produce, addressing processes for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, labels, and signage correctly.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain procedures, including temperature monitoring, thermometer usage, proper handling, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and destock merchandise as necessary, apply product protection measures when required, and set modular displays like flex modulars and shelf caps to keep shelves fully stocked.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe and sanitary workplace.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands and help maintain smooth store operations.

Challenges Associated with This Role

• Effectively manage high volumes of tasks within a fast-paced setting, including overnight shifts, ensuring sustained energy and focus throughout the shift.
• Handle physically demanding activities such as prolonged standing, frequent bending, and lifting inventory or equipment weighing up to 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive actions including stocking, zoning, and organizing products with precision to uphold store standards consistently.
