About the Role

As a Pricing & Tender Specialist, reporting to the Direct Sales Manager, you will craft and execute pricing strategies and develop tender documents for our Primary & Grid Components portfolios. Your role involves delivering responsive and compliant customer service by preparing technically robust and commercially sound offers that perfectly align with customer specifications and ABB's solutions. This position demands a balance of commercial insight and technical knowledge with a focus on 11-33kV Distribution Systems, emphasizing Primary and Grid Component product lines. A key part of your responsibility will include formulating mitigation plans and delivering effective solutions that align with customer engineering requirements while maintaining ABB’s market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Create precise and regulation-compliant pricing and tender documentation for Primary & Grid Components products to support sales efforts.
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards by ensuring timely and high-quality tender and pricing proposals.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies tailored to different customer segments to maximize revenue and sustain competitive advantage.
- Drive growth by applying application engineering principles that tailor solutions to meet customers’ technical and operational demands.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong pricing and financial expertise enabling risk management and ensuring long-term profitability through offers.
- Meticulous attention to producing offers that are both commercially viable and technically compliant.
- In-depth technical knowledge of 11-33kV Distribution Systems, with a focus on Primary and Grid Component portfolios.
- Ability to manage commercial, contractual, and technical risks effectively within tender submissions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills in both technical and commercial contexts.
- Competency in application engineering to accurately align ABB offerings with customer needs.
