About the Role

GardaWorld is seeking dedicated Pre-Board Screening Officers to join the Aviation Services team at Sault Ste. Marie Airport, Ontario, Canada. As a crucial part of airport security, you will serve as the final checkpoint to help safeguard travelers and ensure their safety throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screening of passengers and their luggage before boarding.
• Prevent prohibited items from entering secure airport zones.
• Manage access control to restricted areas within the airport premises.
• Respond promptly to any alarms and document any irregular activities, unlawful conduct, or breaches of protocol.
• Collaborate in emergency response operations within the airport setting.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Canadian Citizen or hold permanent resident status.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent credential (GED).
• Maintain a clean criminal record and qualify for Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) security clearance.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Reside near Sault Ste. Marie, ON, or be prepared to relocate prior to commencing employment.
