GSOC Operator

About the Role

The GSOC Operator at G4S, based in Hyderabad, will serve a critical function within the Global Physical Security Operations Center. This role entails the continuous surveillance, evaluation, and prompt reaction to security-related incidents to protect personnel and assets using advanced security technology. The candidate must thrive in fast-paced environments under pressure with strong attention to detail and security system proficiency.

Key Duties and Performance Indicators

• Continuously monitor security technologies such as CCTV cameras, access control points, alarm systems, and incident management platforms to detect threats and respond appropriately.
• Execute responses to security incidents in strict accordance with escalation policies to ensure complete procedural compliance.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on all GSOC security apparatus and report any malfunctions or concerns to maintain full operational efficiency.
• Assist with compliance audits and contribute to both local and international security initiatives by offering timely intelligence and situational updates.
• Engage actively in monthly security training and meet or exceed a 90% completion rate.
• Identify potential improvements in workflows and collaborate across departments to enhance operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

• Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• A minimum of two years professional experience working in a GSOC environment or comparable security operations role.
• Proficiency with CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, and access control technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications related to security operations or incident management such as ASIS APP, CPP, or similar.
• Knowledge of Indian security legislation and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical capabilities and adaptability to rotating 24/7 shift schedules.
