About the Role
Join a leading security services business as a Surveillance Security Guard based in London, Ontario. Your main responsibility will be maintaining heightened awareness by monitoring multiple security system screens to detect any potential threats early. This role involves safeguarding environments such as security operation centers, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses by identifying suspicious activity before it escalates.

Key Responsibilities
- Constantly monitor security systems to detect suspicious behavior or threats.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emerging security concerns.
- Accurately document and write detailed reports on all observed events and incidents.
- Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
- Manage access control by verifying visitor identification and controlling entry to secure areas.
- Evaluate security technology to spot potential system weaknesses or failures.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when serious situations arise or emergencies occur.
Candidate Qualifications
- Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid security license.
- Certification in first aid is required.
- Strong writing skills for thorough report preparation.
- Excellent eyesight and the ability to maintain intense focus for extended periods.
- High level of comfort and skill when using security technology.
- Physical fitness to stand and walk during entire shifts.
