Pre-Board Screening Officer

About the Role

Join GardaWorld’s Aviation Services team as a Pre-Board Screening Officer located in Saint John, New Brunswick and nearby areas. In this important position, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers by conducting thorough screenings at the airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings of passengers along with their personal belongings.
• Prevent unauthorized or banned items from entering secure zones.
• Manage and control access to restricted areas within the airport.
• React promptly to alarms and report any suspicious incidents, illegal activities, or security breaches.
• Assist emergency operations during airport incidents.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Must hold Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent credential such as GED.
• Have a clean criminal background and qualify to obtain a security clearance (RAIC).
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Reside near Saint John or be willing to relocate prior to employment start.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive pay ranging from $24.82 to $26.38 per hour upon certification.
• Paid training offered at $21.82 per hour.
