Overview
The Personal Trainer role involves leading gym sessions such as aerobics and providing one-on-one fitness training to hotel guests and members while upholding Kempinski's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all guests and staff utilizing the Fitness Center.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and attentiveness to guests' unique needs.
- Encourage and motivate guests to follow their fitness regimes and reach their goals.
- Assess clients' physical fitness levels to tailor suitable programs.
- Create personalized fitness plans for guests.
- Conduct exercise classes, manage, and regularly update class schedules.
- Track and review the progress of guests' workout plans.
- Provide guidance on equipment usage to Fitness Center members.
- Maintain top physical fitness personally.
- Prepare and organize fitness equipment and supplies daily.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends and training techniques applicable to the department.
- Execute special projects as delegated by supervisors.
- Ensure an enjoyable and comfortable experience for visitors, including managing towel and water supplies.
- Offer tours of the fitness facility to guests and visitors.
- Keep the facility clean and tidy, especially post-usage.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks of the Fitness Center.
- Uphold professional standards in conduct, dress code, personal hygiene, appearance, and posture for self and supervised personnel in operations.
- Maintain all fitness equipment and report any damage or loss promptly to management.
- Perform duties efficiently and in line with company policies to meet organizational goals.
- Adhere strictly to rules concerning fire safety, hygiene, health, and general employee regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook and hotel policies.
- Identify and report hazards promptly and ensure their rectification.
- Arrive at work punctually wearing the appropriate uniform and nametag at all times.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.
