About the Role

Join ADP as a Payroll Specialist where you will support clients by utilizing ADP’s innovative business solutions to streamline their payroll processes, enabling them to focus on growing their businesses. Positioned in a dynamic Human Resources Outsourcing team, you will respond expertly to diverse payroll and tax-related inquiries from Client Payroll Administrators, carrying the responsibility of upholding ADP’s quality service and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full payroll processing and audit functions for multiple clients, ensuring payrolls are scheduled, executed, balanced, and compliant with year-end calendars along with timely submission of all Third-Party Remittances and required reports.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert by providing clients with accurate statutory payroll information, including tax filing guidance, using internal resources and databases to ensure effective solutions and promote best practices.
  • Resolve client issues efficiently by collaborating with internal technical teams and other ADP departments. Provide constructive feedback to enhance products and processes.
  • Continuously develop your payroll expertise by maintaining National Payroll Institute (NPI) certification and engaging in required departmental training.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum five years of experience processing payroll in Canada along with five years of client service experience.
  • Proficient in internet research and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills capable of translating complex data into actionable client solutions.
  • Deliver excellent client service with professionalism and clarity both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent administrative, client service, or HR experience.
  • Currently working towards or holding an NPI certification such as PCP or CPM, with access to tuition and membership reimbursement programs.

Compensation and Additional Information

The salary range for this role is CAD $59,300 to $94,800 annually, with compensation varying by location, skills, and experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings matching, wellness programs, disability coverage, paid time off, and volunteering hours. Compensation complies with applicable wage and salary laws. This position includes an initial AI-assisted pre-screening process.
