Role Overview

We offer an exciting opportunity for a UK Payroll Associate within our iiPay division, part of the renowned Global payroll team. This permanent, full-time role is open to candidates based in the UK, Hungary, Romania, or Poland, with flexibility for remote work combined with occasional office presence if required. The incumbent will be responsible for managing UK payrolls for various international clients, delivering high-quality payroll services while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and deliver UK payrolls for assigned client portfolios, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
  • Manage payroll schedules effectively to meet or exceed client expectations, maintaining clear communication and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Continuously seek improvements in systems, procedures, and payroll delivery to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain clear and informative communication channels with clients, implementation teams, and account managers.
  • Serve as the lead operations contact for the UK, maintaining deep familiarity with statutory payroll processes and deadlines.
  • Contribute to company projects aimed at improving or modifying payroll systems, processes, or functions.
  • Handle client escalations promptly and work collaboratively with management and partner networks to resolve issues and enhance outcomes.

Experience and Technical Skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in UK payroll processing within a multi-client environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK payroll complexities, including varying terms and conditions, pension schemes, salary sacrifice, and auto-enrolment.
  • Proven compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory timing requirements.
  • Experience working with a diverse client base, including international small businesses and large corporations (FTSE and Fortune 500).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and a commitment to high-quality work standards.
  • Competence with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, capable of data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with regulated service delivery frameworks such as ISAE 3402 or SSAE 16 is advantageous.
