Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Parcel Sorter at our Christchurch branch responsible for safely handling freight, meeting delivery targets, and ensuring on-time, damage-free service.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and securely load and unload all freight.
• Use On-time scanning efficiently to meet branch operational targets.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
• Operate all equipment safely and effectively.
• Manage bay labels, restack damaged freight, and protect leaking items.
• Maintain positive working relationships within the team.
• Communicate effectively in a team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Physically fit with strong teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in the freight industry.
• Strong focus on health and safety procedures.
• Possession of an F endorsed driver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with long forklifts is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations is a plus but not required.
