About the Role
- Team Global Express is hiring a Heavy Combination (HC) Driver for a full-time, permanent position based in Gracemere, Queensland.
- The work schedule is Monday to Friday with availability for immediate start.
- Responsibilities include executing pickups and deliveries within scheduled times, securely handling freight at all times, and appropriately restraining loads using tools like straps and chains.
- Drivers must carry out daily pre-start vehicle safety checks and promptly report any problems.
- All company procedures and operational guidelines must be followed rigorously.
- Hazards, near misses, and other incidents should be reported per company safety protocols.
- Maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) standards is essential.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a current and valid Heavy Combination (HC) licence is mandatory.
- Prior experience in a similar heavy vehicle driving role is required.
- Excellent time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to transport freight safely and punctually.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety measures.
- A proactive attitude towards workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
