About the Position
Join our team as a Parcel Sorter at Team Global Express in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, where your daily tasks will be varied and dynamic. You will be an integral member of a dedicated team committed to delivering freight forwarding and logistics solutions across New Zealand, supporting a nationwide network from Kaitaia to Invercargill.
Work Schedule
Morning shift from Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Role Responsibilities
- Safely and securely load and unload freight for both road and rail transports.
- Efficiently scan parcels using On-time technology to meet branch operational goals.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and skilled manner.
- Foster positive working relationships within the team.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth team operations.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a clean Full New Zealand Class 1 driver’s license—mandatory requirement.
- Forklift license with OSH certification is preferred.
- Dangerous Goods Endorsement is an advantage.
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Experience driving on New Zealand roads.
