About Team Global Express

Team Global Express NZ specializes in freight forwarding and providing complete transport and logistics solutions across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill. They focus on connecting communities and supporting eCommerce with reliable freight delivery services.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Class 5 Driver to join our Whangarei branch. The primary responsibility is assisting with timely and safe freight handling, ensuring delivery targets are met. Duties include regional routes with deliveries involving bulk and tail lift loading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload freight manually.
  • Handle freight carefully to prevent damage.
  • Scan every item of freight handled.
  • Complete pickups and deliveries punctually and completely.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Operate the vehicle legally and safely at all times.
  • Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness inside and out.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Possess a clean New Zealand Class 5 full driving license.
  • Dangerous Goods endorsement is preferred.
  • Forklift license with OSH certification is advantageous.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good communication and ability to work well in a team.
  • Experience driving in New Zealand conditions.
