Job Overview
As a Package Handler at FedEx Canada, you will be actively involved in loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting freight efficiently within the warehouse facility. This role demands physical capability and attention to safety standards in handling packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing freight by loading and unloading shipments.
- Accurately scan and sort parcels to ensure proper routing.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Successful completion of all required initial and recurring training sessions is mandatory.
- Physical capability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate equipment for maneuvering packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
