Role Overview

This position involves providing polite and efficient package collection and delivery along a designated route. It includes verifying shipments for compliance with Federal Express Canada service standards and delivering related customer support functions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have completed high school education or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Capable of lifting items weighing up to 70 lbs and handling packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
• Preferred to have at least one year of customer-focused business experience.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training is required.
• Familiarity with Federal Express Canada procedures and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent capability in delivering customer service.
• Ability to multitask, manage stress, and perform well under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including holidays as business demands.

Additional Details

This is primarily an interview-based position. Candidates must be prepared to undertake any necessary testing and training and continuously update certifications. Work is performed on PC Windows systems. If residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency (French and English) is mandatory. Driving competency is essential, with an acceptable driving record defined as two or fewer violations or accidents in the preceding 24 months. Candidate evaluations include driver's record review, interview performance, and any administered driving competency tests.

Salary: $24 per hour
