Job Overview

Join FedEx Canada as a Courier responsible for providing prompt, polite pick-up and delivery of parcels along designated routes. This role involves ensuring shipments meet FedEx Canada’s service criteria and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick up and deliver packages on assigned routes.
• Verify all shipments comply with company service standards.
• Perform customer service duties related to deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and, using appropriate equipment, maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Preferably one year of customer-focused business experience.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada’s operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Capability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays depending on business requirements.

Additional Information

• If based in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
• Must maintain a driving record with fewer than three violations/accidents in the last 24 months.
• Functioning proficiency in a Windows PC environment is required.
• Completion and maintenance of required recurrent training and accreditations are necessary.
• Working varying shifts aligned with business demands is expected.
• The role involves undergoing driver competency assessments and interview evaluations.
