Job description
Role Overview
This position involves overseeing equipment packages from the initial procurement stage through to final delivery, guaranteeing adherence to both project and contractual specifications. Key duties encompass collaboration with procurement personnel to conclude purchase orders, supervision of vendor document submission, coordination of equipment inspections and testing, and ensuring prompt delivery of both equipment and spare parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage equipment packages through all procurement lifecycle stages ensuring compliance with project terms.
- Coordinate with buyers to finalize purchase orders and track vendor documentation.
- Organize and oversee inspections and testing procedures for equipment and spare parts.
- Liaise with vendors, project teams, owner's representatives, and third-party inspectors to facilitate progress meetings and monitor vendor performance and payments.
- Provide support during installation, commissioning, and warranty phases, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting throughout.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of five years' relevant experience, specifically within EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
- Positive mindset with eagerness to learn.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Work Location
Positions are based in various Seatrium yards across Singapore, including Admiralty Yard (60 Admiralty Road West), Tuas Boulevard Yard (80 Tuas South Boulevard), Pioneer Yard (50 Gul Road), Tuas Yard (Pioneer Sector 1), and Benoi Yard (15 Benoi Road). Transportation to the sites is provided from Sembawang MRT and islandwide for some locations.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:15 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
