Operations Supervisor

Job Overview

We seek an Operations Supervisor capable of motivating a team to consistently reach targets and productivity goals aligned with company objectives. The role involves tracking team attendance and workflow, collaborating closely with the Shift Manager to identify and resolve emerging issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe work environment by pinpointing safety opportunities in the designated work area.
• Train and manage Associates to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
• Guarantee that customer orders comply with quality and safety standards.
• Provide vital shift-related updates to frontline management and operational staff continuously.
• Adjust labor resources during shifts to fulfill and surpass plans and forecasts.
• Collaborate with support teams and departments to tackle common challenges in areas such as process readiness, 5S methodology, safety, and training.
• Utilize data analysis, innovative thinking, and process improvements to resolve logistics and supply chain issues.

Typical Day

The role demands strong communication skills, high personal accountability, and leading by example. It requires developing deep knowledge of operational procedures, data analysis capabilities, motivating teams to excel, and always prioritizing customer needs. Flexibility to work weekends, night shifts, and overtime as necessary is important.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts covering weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Availability for a 40-hour workweek plus overtime as needed.
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform tasks such as standing or walking for shifts up to 9 hours, frequently pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching.
• Preferred: Over 2 years experience with Microsoft Office suite.
