About the Role

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a proactive and passionate Operations Manager to lead and inspire hotel teams in Cork, Ireland. This role focuses on steering hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, driving strategic growth, maintaining high performance, and nurturing a positive workplace culture. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping both the culture and success of your team while advancing your own professional development in a supportive environment that values innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic assistance to the General Manager on all operational matters concerning the hotel.
• Supervise and lead the heads of various hotel departments effectively.
• Motivate and engage staff consistently to uphold superior service standards.
• Lead succession planning efforts and promote continuous learning among hotel staff.
• Ensure the hotel delivers outstanding levels of customer care.
• Contribute to the financial success by supporting profitability and managing costs effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or marketing roles within a hotel or other customer-centric environment.
• Demonstrate creativity and possess an outgoing personality capable of forming new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
• Have proven abilities in managing teams and people within a collaborative environment.
• Be sales-focused, target-driven, and results-oriented.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the competence to create clear and concise reports for clients and colleagues.
• Exude confidence, ambition, and a proactive approach to work.
