Job Responsibilities

• Organize and prioritize daily maintenance tasks efficiently, including painting, decorating, and gardening duties.
• Perform maintenance work as required, such as preventative upkeep in areas of tiling, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Update and adhere to maintenance procedures, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
• Support plumbers and electricians in troubleshooting and fixing hotel system faults.
• Manage and guide contractors working within the Maldron Hotel Merrion Road premises.
• Collaborate with the team responsible for general maintenance, refurbishment, and upkeep of guest services and amenities.
• Operate all activities in compliance with health and safety laws, policies, and best practice guidelines.
• Follow hotel HACCP protocols and fulfill all necessary related documentation requirements.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a Safe Pass certificate is preferred.
• Relevant qualifications in trades such as painting, gardening, heating, plumbing, or construction are beneficial.
• Self-driven with effective work prioritization capabilities.
• Detail-focused and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a busy setting.
• Flexible regarding work schedules.
• Proficient in English communication.
