Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and administer Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) clusters to maintain high availability, performance, and stability.
  • Provision and oversee OpenShift resources, such as Projects, Namespaces, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Persistent Volumes.
  • Perform cluster installations, upgrades, applying patches, renewing certificates, and routine platform maintenance tasks.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications utilizing CI/CD and GitOps methodologies and tools including Jenkins, Argo CD, Helm, and Kustomize.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to facilitate application onboarding, migrations, and production deployments.
  • Handle incident management, conduct root cause analyses, implement changes, manage disaster recovery plans, and conduct capacity planning.
  • Document technical processes, maintain operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide production support and on-call assistance to guarantee platform uptime and promptly resolve critical incidents.
  • Respond effectively to production outages, coordinate cross-functional team efforts, and restore services within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
