About the Role
Archway Recruitment is collaborating with a specialist engineering and professional services consultancy based in Christchurch to find an experienced Office Administrator / Project Support Coordinator. The company, comprising around 40 staff members, undertakes complex technical projects throughout New Zealand. They seek an individual who will play a vital role in supporting everyday business functions and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily office administrative support to the entire business.
- Assist managers and project teams with coordination, document creation, and administrative duties.
- Produce, format, and update business and project-related documents.
- Provide project administration support including reporting, record keeping, and workflow coordination.
- Manage reception duties, serving as the initial contact point for visitors and incoming calls.
- Organize meetings, travel arrangements, accommodations, and internal company events.
- Maintain office inventory including supplies, equipment, and vendor communications.
- Oversee vehicle fleet administration tasks such as WOFs, registrations, servicing, compliance, and vehicle upkeep.
- Support initiatives focused on health, safety, wellbeing, and quality assurance.
- Keep precise records and maintain document control systems.
- Identify and implement enhancements to processes and systems.
- Ensure smooth daily operations of office and project teams.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous background in administration, office coordination, project support, or business services roles.
- Advanced ability in Microsoft Office, especially Word document formatting and presentation skills.
- Experience managing and maintaining business and project documents.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capability to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude with eagerness to participate actively.
- Comfortable engaging with technical teams and professional services environments.
- Strong communication skills and an aptitude for building professional relationships.
- Positive, adaptable mindset with strong ownership of results.

- Permanent, full-time role.
- Competitive remuneration between NZD 65,000 and 70,000 annually, based on experience.
