Role Overview

An experienced Architect is sought to join the Christchurch team, playing a central role within project groups across diverse sectors. The position involves both creative design development and technical project delivery, requiring collaboration with senior leaders, clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure exceptional design quality and project standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in and lead the design process from initial concept through to project completion
  • Oversee and coordinate project documentation and delivery stages
  • Maintain and manage working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, and team coordination
  • Deliver technical advice and guidance throughout project lifecycles
  • Collaborate closely with internal multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent outcomes

Role Requirements

  • Registered Architect credential or comparable professional experience
  • Demonstrable strong design abilities and commitment to architectural quality
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management expertise
  • Proven track record managing medium to large scale architectural projects
  • Experience within commercial, educational, healthcare, public, or institutional construction sectors
  • Proficient understanding of New Zealand construction practices and building codes
  • Strong skills in consultant coordination and project management
  • Advanced use of Revit software for architectural design
  • Team-oriented approach with the ability to work within multidisciplinary environments
