Mixologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at JW Marriott in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing drink orders following precise recipes, managing bar service operations, and maintaining cleanliness and stock levels within the bar area to ensure excellent guest experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare beverages according to standardized recipes and measurement systems.
• Serve wine and champagne bottles after issuing and opening them.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including tables and equipment.
• Create fresh garnishes for drinks ensuring high presentation standards.
• Stock bar supplies including ice, glassware, and paper products.
• Transport supplies to the bar set-up area efficiently.
• Handle washing of used glassware and clearing bar tops and tables of soiled items.
• Proactively anticipate inventory replenishment needs and communicate them promptly.
• Process all forms of payment and manage cash bank responsibly at shift end with accurate reporting.
• Secure liquor, beer, wine, cooler, cabinet, and storage areas appropriately.
• Perform closing duties to finalize daily operations.
• Promote a safe workplace by adhering to company procedures, maintaining uniform standards, and delivering professional communication and service.
• Be physically active and endurance-ready to stand, walk, and move continuously, handle lifting and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, or up to 50 pounds with help.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
