Bartender

Position Summary

As a Bartender at Delta Hotels and Resorts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for preparing drink orders accurately as per specified recipes using measuring systems. Your duties will include opening and serving wine or champagne bottles, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, tables, and equipment, preparing fresh garnishes, stocking supplies like ice and glassware, and washing soiled glassware.

You will manage the bar setup area by transporting supplies, promptly removing dirty wares from tables and bar tops, and communicating inventory replenishment requirements. Handling all payment methods with accuracy, reconciling cash at shift end, managing cashier reports, and securing receipts and the cash bank will be essential tasks. Additionally, securing all liquors, beers, wines, and storage areas is a key responsibility, along with performing closing duties diligently.

Safety and Conduct

You must comply with all company policies related to safety and security, reporting any accidents, unsafe conditions, or injuries to management, and completing required safety training. Maintaining a professional and clean appearance, safeguarding confidential company information, and protecting company property are required.

Welcoming guests warmly and adhering to service standards by anticipating their needs and expressing genuine appreciation are important elements of this role. Clear and professional communication, building positive team relationships, supporting shared goals, and responding aptly to colleagues' concerns are expected.

Physical Requirements

The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. You must be able to handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds, move through confined or elevated spaces, navigate slippery or uneven surfaces, and perform movements such as bending, twisting, and pulling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education level: High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications needed.
