About the Role
Delta Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This position involves managing and maintaining HR documentation and providing support related to employee matters. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and upkeep filing systems related to human resource documents.
- Draft and prepare office correspondence using computer applications.
- Manage distribution and routing of mail within the department.
- Procure and monitor office supplies and forms essential for HR operations.
- Answer incoming calls and document messages appropriately.
- Create personnel files for new employees and assist applicants with the application process.
- Maintain and ensure accessibility and cleanliness of the application area, accommodating individuals with disabilities.
- Address inquiries and concerns from employees and management regarding company policies and human resource programs.
- Report any employee relation issues to Human Resources management relevant to the division or property.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard employee records and sensitive data.
- Ensure precision in maintaining employee documentation, including interview materials and regulatory compliance forms like I-9s.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to supervisors promptly.
- Greet and acknowledge guests according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions.
- Develop positive working relationships with coworkers, demonstrate teamwork, and listen attentively to employee concerns.
- Maintain quality standards and expectations in all performed tasks.
- Operate computers and point-of-sale systems to input and retrieve information.
- Handle light physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds independently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- A minimum of one year of related work experience in a similar role.
- No supervisory experience required.
- Licenses or certifications are not mandatory for this position.
