Role Overview

The Minibar Attendant is responsible for maintaining and replenishing guest room minibars in line with hotel standards. This involves ensuring minibar items are stocked correctly with proper presentation, accurate recording of consumption, and discreet, efficient guest service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Inspect and refill minibars in designated guest rooms according to prescribed inventory levels and quality standards.
• Document minibar usage precisely and ensure appropriate posting of charges in accordance with hotel guidelines.
• Verify the freshness, packaging, and display of all minibar products, monitoring expiration dates closely.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock control for minibar items.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of minibar equipment and storage locations.
• Immediately report any missing items, damaged equipment, maintenance needs, or unusual observations.
• Adhere strictly to guest privacy, observing "Do Not Disturb" signs when entering occupied rooms.
• Collaborate effectively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Finance, and Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Minimize product waste by following first-in-first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation procedures.
• Keep accurate logs of minibar stock, consumption, and replenishment activities.
• Comply fully with the hotel’s standards in food safety, hygiene, health and safety protocols, and brand policies.
• Deliver courteous and professional service during all guest interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience related to minibar management, housekeeping, room service, or hotel operational roles is advantageous.
• Fundamental understanding of inventory control and stock management procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical record-keeping.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Guest-oriented attitude, reliability, and capability to work independently.
• Willingness and flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.
