Role Overview

The Room Attendant holds responsibility for ensuring guest rooms and assigned public areas maintain exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort standards. This role plays a key part in transforming occupied rooms into immaculate and inviting spaces, thereby assuring guest satisfaction and preserving the establishment's reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strip used beds and remake them with fresh linens; thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets, showers, sinks, and tiles.
• Dust and polish all furniture and fixtures to maintain an elegant environment.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors by sweeping and mopping in guest rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Restock necessary amenities such as soaps, shampoos, towels, coffee, tea, and minibar items to meet brand guidelines.
• Inspect guest rooms for any damage or maintenance issues like burnt-out bulbs or malfunctioning appliances and promptly report these to the maintenance team.
• Deliver courteous guest service by greeting guests politely, fulfilling requests for additional items like towels or pillows, and handing in found items to supervisors.
• Manage housekeeping equipment by organizing and restocking cleaning carts and linen closets at the beginning and end of shifts.
