Role Overview
We are seeking Metering Specialists to manage and support the daily metering operations for Robotron-serviced customers. This position involves overseeing the complete cycle of metering tasks, guaranteeing precise execution, communicating effectively with customers, and ensuring adherence to compliance and risk management protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of meter installations, replacements, removals, and fault resolutions.
- Input, update, and monitor metering job records within internal systems for accuracy and completeness.
- Examine paperwork and metering data to verify integrity, compliance, and correctness.
- Coordinate with electricians, field personnel, network providers, and contractors to achieve service standards and deadlines.
- Provide professional and clear communication to customers through emails and phone regarding status updates and resolve inquiries or complaints.
- Analyze recurring issues and trends to propose improvements in processes and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in reporting on service delivery, metering performance, and compliance outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses NCEA Level 2 or its equivalent and demonstrates strong proficiency with computer systems.
- Has a minimum of two years' experience in a customer-facing role, whether front-line or administrative.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the capability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging customers by phone and email.
- Maintains a customer-first approach in professionally managing queries and complaints.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in promoting continuous process enhancements.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to manage change while sustaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
