Responsibilities

The Maintenance Helper is responsible for a range of tasks ensuring that the nursing center and its grounds are kept clean, safe, orderly, and visually appealing.

• Perform minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical devices, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and extinguishers.
• Replace filters on HVAC units.
• Lift, carry and manage supply inventories.
• Take charge of the Maintenance Supervisor's duties in their absence.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with fundamental knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

Compensation

The offered hourly wage ranges from USD 20 to USD 21 per hour.
