Mechanical Engineer - Entry Level

Job Overview

We are seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in metal recycling. This position focuses on supporting maintenance operations, enhancing equipment reliability, aiding production activities, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the recycling facility.

Primary Duties

• Assist in the upkeep and operation of mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Participate in both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Perform inspections to detect mechanical faults and irregularities.
• Help troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems as needed.
• Monitor machine performance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
• Support maintenance and operation of recycling machinery and production lines.
• Help implement structured maintenance plans and protocols.
• Generate maintenance documentation and keep accurate equipment logs.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Adhere to established safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Engage in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and boosting equipment efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for mechanical maintenance and industrial machinery.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance processes.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
