Key Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and professional service to meet customer demands.
• Prepare meat products suitable for customer purchase.
• Stock and merchandise meat displays where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the meat department.
• Receive and process meat product orders.
• Fulfill special meat product requests as required.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal meat quality standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
• Follow and enforce all applicable company policies and standards.
• Perform administrative tasks relevant to the department.
• Train new staff and clerks on technical skills within the department.
• Support the Meat Manager or second-in-command as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of meat department operations and skills.
• Capability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Possession of a High School diploma.
• At least 12 months of relevant industry experience.
