Role Overview

We are seeking a QA/QC Materials Inspector to verify that all project materials align with specifications and receive all necessary approvals. This role involves supervision, inspection, and coordination duties to ensure compliance and quality across construction activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor's proposed materials and methods under Resident Engineer guidance.
• Supervise daily contractor activities including assignments, onsite performance, and operational guidance.
• Conduct and lead site inspections as needed.
• Ensure testing and approvals are obtained from relevant authorities.
• Evaluate contractor's testing requests and inspect completed reports.
• Approve contractor submissions related to materials and methods.
• Monitor timely delivery and correctness of materials used onsite.
• Coordinate work schedules, sequences, and methods with contractor supervisory staff.
• Enforce adherence to contractor schedules.
• Carry out continuous field inspections and collaborate with Resident Engineer and contractor supervisors.
• Prepare detailed contractual and procedural reports for the Resident Engineer.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution approved by the Engineer.
• Experience supervising civil construction, specifically segmental tunnel lining production and inspection.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete precast production, mix designs, and material testing methods.
• Familiarity with local materials standards and regulations.
• Commitment to ethical operations and safety priorities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain focus, and hold accountability.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
