Business Unit Overview

The Buildings Unit (BLD) operates widely within the UK and mainland Europe, offering diverse expertise across five sectors: Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation, and Water. It serves local clients and provides technical leadership across the group.

Position Overview

We are expanding our architecture team within the Buildings and Cities unit and seek an Architect or Senior Architect to contribute at all RIBA stages on diverse projects globally, including the UK, Ireland, and Europe. This role involves managing multiple building typology projects, leading design and coordination within multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting long-term client engagements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in architecture, with proven experience in UK architectural practices or similar environments. You will have demonstrated capability managing projects independently and collaboratively, and possess a keen attention to detail combined with solid technical knowledge.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Post Part 3 qualified Architect with ARB registration.
• Relevant experience in Defence or Transport buildings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Proven post-qualification work experience.
• Capable of delivering projects from both design and technical perspectives.
• Experienced in project delivery adhering to strict deadlines.
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM technologies.
• Solid understanding of current technical building regulations, Building Regulations, and British Standards.
• Aptitude for managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
