Role Overview

We are currently recruiting a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to join our construction supervision team responsible for significant tunnelling, underground infrastructure, and surface water drainage projects in Qatar. The candidate will oversee cost management and commercial aspects during all stages of the project, ensuring adherence to contract terms and delivering optimal value.

Main Responsibilities

• Engage with major tunnelling, underground structures, and surface water drainage network projects.
• Prepare monthly valuations for construction projects.
• Review and assess Site Instructions and Variation Orders.
• Evaluate and analyze Contractor's Claims.
• Apply effective dispute prevention and resolution strategies.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized university, with post-graduate qualifications in Project or Programme Management or Construction Contract Law considered an advantage.
• Essential professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• Relevant experience in construction-focused quantity surveying.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
• Proficient in utilizing computer technologies to analyze data, maintain records, interpret financial information, and produce reports.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
