Operation Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for an Operation Executive to oversee and manage various aspects of industrial operations in Mysuru, Karnataka. The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily industrial activities, ensuring safety compliance, managing manpower and contractors, and maintaining quality and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily industrial tasks to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Manage manpower, supervisors, contractors, and the allocation of site resources.
• Oversee productivity, material consumption, and equipment usage.
• Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports on work activities.
• Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols including conducting safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among all personnel.
• Conduct site safety inspections to identify hazards and initiate corrective measures.
• Supervise high-risk operations like work-at-height, scaffolding, electrical and hot work, ensuring permit-to-work procedures are adhered to.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspection records, and incident logs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client safety standards by coordinating audits and inspections.
• Assist in accident investigations and preparing incident reports.
• Manage manpower allocation, worker attendance, discipline, and productivity assessment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and service providers to ensure trained and authorized personnel on site.
• Work with project and site teams to assure quality standards and monitor progress versus schedule.
• Identify and address operational challenges promptly, maintaining clear communication with management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Operations, or related disciplines.
• Possession of industrial safety certification is advantageous.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in industrial operations, construction, maintenance, painting, waterproofing, or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols and site operations management.
• Competency in handling multiple tasks and managing manpower effectively.
