Job Responsibilities

• Carry out masonry tasks including brickwork, blockwork, stonework, plastering, screeding, and concrete repairs aligned with project specifications.
• Interpret drawings, layouts, and work directives to ensure precise masonry execution.
• Build and mend structural components such as walls, partitions, foundations, and pavements.
• Prepare and combine mortar, cement, and other necessary construction materials.
• Guarantee all masonry work adheres to quality standards, project specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a secure and orderly manner.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to facilitate smooth project workflow.
• Detect and communicate any defects, material shortages, or site challenges to supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of High School or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a Mason on construction projects.
• Proficiency in blockwork, plastering, tiling, and concrete repair tasks.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and specifications.
• Solid knowledge of construction techniques, material properties, and site safety protocols.
• Physically robust to handle demanding conditions on construction sites.
