Cybersecurity Manager - Metro

Overview

This role is responsible for managing operational activities related to account administration, eDiscovery, incident response, policy waiver support, and deployment of cybersecurity technologies for project information and process systems. The position also involves collaboration with vendors to devise technical security solutions and provides recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the administration of user accounts and upgrade systems/software to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of workstations, servers, and LANs.
• Ensure secure operation of security devices and safeguard sensitive unclassified information following cryptographic standards.
• Mitigate threats and vulnerabilities impacting corporate and client data security.
• Offer technical assistance, training, and timely data recovery support to system users.
• Lead investigations into cybersecurity incidents and contribute to cyber initiative efforts.
• Carry out system protection measures complemented by vulnerability assessment tools.
• Represent cybersecurity interests on project teams and internal committees.
• Supervise client/server/infrastructure teams in implementing sound computer and system security protocols.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• At least 15 years of cybersecurity professional experience with minimum 5 years in senior or leadership roles.
• Expertise in network security, threat analysis, incident response, and security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and intrusion detection systems.
• Strong grasp of security protocols, vulnerability management, risk assessment, security audits, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in firewall configuration, network segmentation, access control, and security documentation with technical reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud security platforms, hybrid architectures, penetration testing, ethical hacking, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, encryption technologies, data protection methods, and cybersecurity regulations particular to the Middle East and Saudi Arabia.

Certifications and Domain Expertise

• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CEH, CCNA Security or equivalent.
• Domain knowledge in enterprise security, information security management, and risk management is required.
