Job description
Overview
The role of Site Supervisor for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects involves leading on-site laborers and subcontractors in the accurate and safe assembly of steel structural components. This position ensures that work progresses efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Main Duties
- Direct the unloading, storage, and planned lifting of steel framework elements such as columns, rafters, and purlins.
- Supervise everyday alignment accuracy, verticality (plumbing), and correct torque application on high-strength bolted connections.
- Enforce safety standards related to working at heights, crane operations, and hot work, including mandatory personal protective equipment use.
- Manage material logistics to guarantee timely delivery and coordinate daily erection team scheduling to avoid delays.
- Keep detailed Daily Progress Reports, logs of material usage, and photographic evidence of work completed.
- Identify and communicate site-level technical challenges or deviations from structural plans, facilitating their resolution.
Additional Information
The candidate serves as the primary point of contact between project management and the site team to solve technical problems promptly and maintain project workflow continuity.
