Role Overview

The Manager, Solutions Architecture at MongoDB Singapore leads a group of pre-sales solution architects, collaborating closely with sales teams to design customer-focused technical solutions that meet business needs. This role involves steering a high-performing team and enhancing sales strategies to accelerate business growth within enterprise markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber pre-sales architects across multiple regions.
• Partner with sales to drive success in mid-to-large enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to uncover growth opportunities.
• Coach and lead the team to consistently surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pre-sales with strong commercial acumen.
• At least 3 years of management experience, preferably managing distributed pre-sales teams.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets with awards or recognition (like Circle of Excellence).
• Highly motivated with a focused, strategic approach to opportunity qualification and time/resource management.
• Rapid learner with strong credibility and excellent presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Background in database technologies is advantageous.
• Software development experience is considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
