Role Overview

As a Maintenance Programme Engineer, you will be part of Europe’s largest airline group, reporting directly to the Maintenance Programs Manager. This primarily desk-based role will be situated at the Engineering Office in Dublin, Ireland, or optionally in Madrid, Spain. It represents an excellent gateway for recent graduates aiming to initiate their careers with Ryanair.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Maintenance Planning Documents (MPD) and Maintenance Review Boards (MRB) to ensure Ryanair's Group Maintenance Program accurately reflects requirements for the B737NG/8200/A320/CL 3500 fleets.
• Optimize the maintenance program to uphold top-tier safety standards, maintain excellent dispatch reliability, and mitigate operational impact from in-service defects.
• Operate in compliance with Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and internal company manual procedures.
• Analyze Heavy Maintenance findings and identify corrective solutions for recurring issues.
• Prepare and secure approvals from Aviation Authorities for Ryanair’s Group Maintenance Programs when modifications are necessary.
• Develop comprehensive reports supporting maintenance program optimization efforts.
• Contribute to the B737NG/8200/A320 Industry Steering Committee (ISC) with recommendations on continuous MPD/MRB improvements.
• Undertake additional duties assigned regularly by the Maintenance Program Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess an Engineering Degree or a valid EASA Part 66 maintenance license.
• Preferably have experience in Technical Services, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO), or Engine Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO).
• Solid understanding of EASA Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 regulations.
• Technical knowledge of Boeing 737 systems and/or experience working with Airbus 320 aircraft is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MSG-3 maintenance concepts and optimization tools such as SASMO and OPTIMA is a plus.
• Good command of EASA regulatory requirements.
• Experience working with AMOS software is desirable.
• Strong communication aptitude, capable of authoring and reviewing technical instructions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and demanding setting.
